The primary mission of Medical Rescue is to provide emergency
medical support to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for Search & Rescue operations, special events, parades, special details. Our secondary mission involves regular patrol duty at the more than 1,000 square miles of recreational land
in the Tonto National Forest and Lake
Pleasant Regional Park. These recreational areas are visited by over 1.5 million people annually. Our busiest season is during the summer months working with the Sheriff’s Office Lake Patrol at Pleasant, Saguaro, Canyon, Apache, Horseshoe and Bartlett lakes and the Salt River recreational area. |
